The summer between my Junior and Senior year of college was spent in Cedar Rapids, Iowa where I interned with Siemens Transportation Systems.
As this was my first 'real-world' experience in the global workforce, it was quite an exciting adventure. This internship greatly expanded my
technical abilities within the Microsoft Windows desktop and server support areas. In addition, I was also able to learn some new things: PBX telephone
boxes, TCP/IP routing, and Microsoft Exchange. Even though I have not completed the major item that my mentor inspired me to do, getting my MCSE certification
is still on my list.
